The Swan Launches Exciting New Small Plate & Street Food Concept
A Bold Step in Community-Focused, Affordable Dining

1st Aug 2025 - The Swan, the heart of the village in Three Mile Cross, is proud to unveil a brand-new dining experience that brings people together through shared food, great drinks, and honest pricing.

In response to the rising cost of living and a renewed focus on community, The Swan is launching a small plate and street food menu, where every dish is designed for sharing, exploring, and enjoying together. This fresh take on classic pub fare and global street food favourites offers everything from pub staples and steaks to roasts, sandwiches, desserts and more – all served in smaller portions so guests can try a bit of everything.

Every plate is expertly crafted using locally sourced produce, reinforcing The Swan’s commitment to supporting regional suppliers and delivering high-quality food with integrity. And in a rare but welcome move, prices have been thoughtfully kept low so everyone can enjoy a night out with friends or family without worrying about the bill.

“As a true community pub, we wanted to give something back,”
“We’ve redesigned our menu to encourage sharing, socialising, and savouring every bite – while keeping prices accessible during a time when every penny counts.”
-
Charlotte, Manager of The Swan.

It’s not just the food that’s had a revamp. The beer and wine list has been carefully reviewed, with competitive supplier pricing passed directly onto the customer. For the first time in years, guests will see a reduction in drinks prices, including Foster’s on draught at just £3.75 a pint.
The Swan is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday roasts, and continues to host weekly events, live entertainment, quiz nights, and open mics, as well as providing a games room for all ages.
This isn’t just a new menu – it’s a new chapter for The Swan. A return to the pub being the centre of the village. A place for locals to eat, drink, laugh and belong.
The Swan – Made for the Community.
